About Sandra
Sandra McCright is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). She earned her massage therapy license in 2012 and started her business No Worries Massage & Bodywork, LLC in late 2015. Sandra is a professional member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
From Sandra:
I've had clients ask what type of massage I give. It's not an easy answer as I don't use just one modality during a session. Every body is different, therefore, each massage is different based on the needs of the client. I'd like to think that my massages are the perfect blend of relaxation and therapeutic so at the end of a massage session, my client feels a deep sense of relaxation as well as relief from whatever brought them to my table.
As a 2012 graduate of Body Wisdom School of Massage Therapy, my focus then was sports massage. This included modalities such as deep tissue, trigger point and stretching. Since then I have studied other modalities, including but not limited to, Thai on the table, cupping, and hot stones. I've also taken a 200-hour yoga teacher training course which broadened my thinking on the mind-body connection.
Having worked in Information Technology for 25 years, I know the stress of a corporate job and the aches and pains that can creep up on you from sitting all day in front of a computer as well as the wear and tear from business travel. Additionally, I've completed 5 marathons, and 4 RAGBRAIs and know the pain of overuse injuries or pushing the limits of what your body can do. As I reflect on what I’ve accomplished, I often wonder how much easier it might have been had I understood at the time the healing power of massage. I hope you learn from my mistakes and make massage a part of your health maintenance plan.
